Transporting goods is a complex process. A number of difficulties can arise during this process. However, despite traditional beliefs, current CMR insurance does not cover all real estate risks.

The liability of the carrier and the freight forwarder is limited according to the CMR Convention: It provides for liability for total or partial loss or damage to the shipment from its receipt to delivery to the authorized recipient. Protocol No. 1 of 1978 set the liability limit for 1 kg of missing weight at 8.33 SDR (ie SDR = Special Drawing Right, unit determined by the International Monetary Fund).

The SDR rate is set by the IMF and the current rates can be found on the CNB website.

That is why we have decided to offer our customers additional protection for shipments up to 100% of the value of the goods. This service allows you to enjoy your work and relieve you of worries about the condition of the goods, especially if the goods are of great value.

At your request, we will link the shipment with its actual value for all risks (damage, destruction, loss) throughout the shipment from loading into our vehicle to delivery to the recipient.

The additional insurance must be agreed before the start of the transport!
